Sarah Cooper When my parents married, they were both christian, they were baptised together. After a while, my dad gave up on ?the religion? as he thought being a christian was all about ?sitting on a pew on a Sunday morning as the sermon went on...? But my mum truley knew the lord, she had been brought up in a christian family and kept her faith. She took both me and my sister to church for as long as I can remember. We went to a fun church so my sister and I joined in with the kids bit. For the time I went to ------- church I was too young to really understand that Jesus? life isn?t just a fairy tale. The three of us left that church when it joined another church, as they didn?t have a fixed building. the church they joined was based miles away. After starting New Life Christian Centre, I slowly realised that Jesus was real, but I told myself that it didn?t really need Jesus because I was so young. But gradually I began to change my mind. In a more noticable way between when I started and ended my first year at a christian school. In year 7, I changed from a so called ?Sunday morning Christian? to a believer. I know that God has a good plan for me, and I want to follow it. For his word says ??I know what I am planning for you? says the lord ?I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future? -Jeremiah 29 vs 11.? On Sepetmber 10th, I am to be baptised.
